All the girls at Spencer House took part in the Short Story Competition recently, and wrote a story on a theme of their own choice. Subject material ranged from the humorous to the heart wrenching and from animal stories to those about soldiers, pencils and the supernatural. The teachers had the difficult task of selecting two runners up and a winner from each year group, whose entries were shared in a prize winners’ assembly.
