GET IN TOUCH
Got a question about The Study? We’re always here to help – just fill in the short form below and we’ll get back to you.
Step 2
Visit us
We would love you to visit for you to see all that goes on at The Study. As well as an annual Open Morning in the Autumn term, we offer regular small group tours of Wilberforce House, run by our Head, Helen Lowe.
Step 3
Register your daughter
At The Study we welcome registrations anytime from birth.
To register your daughter, we ask you to:
- Complete the registration form using the link below
- Pay a £100 non-refundable registration fee
- Provide a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate or a valid passport
- For non-Reception entry, we also require copy of a recent school report.
Specific dates to register by for Reception entry:
Year of entry to Reception | Registration for guaranteed offer | Registration for the ballot |
---|---|---|
2023 | 30 April 2022 | 30 November 2022 |
2024 | 30 April 2023 | 30 November 2023 |
2025 | 30 April 2024 | 30 November 2024 |
Step 4
Offering a place
For Reception entry, we’re pleased to be able to guarantee an offer of a place if your daughter’s completed registration is received by 30 April in the year preceding the September of entry.
Guaranteed offers will be issued in early May. Parents can then accept our offer or, if you wish, carry your daughter’s registration forward to a ballot for any remaining places, which takes place in December.
We welcome registrations for the ballot until 30 November of the year preceding the September of entry. Offers are issued shortly afterwards. Girls not offered a place via the ballot are placed on our waiting list.
For non-Reception entry, providing a place is available, your daughter will be invited into school for an informal assessment, to gauge how she’ll fit academically in the year group and where to pitch her initial learning, prior to any offer being made. This ensures, should your daughter join us, we can help her to develop and thrive.
Step 5
Accepting our offer and joining us
For entry to all year groups, we ask for a deposit of a half term’s fees to be paid by the date stated in the offer letter. The deposit is non-refundable should your daughter not join us but will be refunded when she leaves The Study.
We know starting school can be an anxious time for families – our aim is to make the transition as smooth and happy as possible. We offer opportunities for your daughter to spend some time with us in school prior to starting, and host numerous parent events to help make you feel part of our community as soon as possible.
Occasional places
We do have places available in Years 1 to 6 from time to time.
If you’re interested in an occasional place, please do get in touch to find out about availability – fill in our contact form above or send an email to admissions@thestudyprep.co.uk
