Step 1

Get in touch

Our Head of Admissions, Annie McCarthy, is on hand to guide you through our admissions process. The process does vary depending on the time of year and the age of your daughter, so please do get in touch with any questions or to check the availability of places. Either fill in our contact form below or send an email to admissions@thestudyprep.co.uk.

To register your daughter, we ask you to:

  • Complete the registration form using the link below

  • Provide a copy of your daughter’s birth certificate or a valid passport
  • For non-Reception entry, we also require a copy of a recent school report.

Step 4

Offering a place

For Reception entry, we will offer places for registrations received by the 30th April of the year preceding the September entry point. Parents will have until July to accept or decline the place. As our maximum number of registrations has now been reached, any additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list. If places become available, offers will then be sent out in August, in date order of registration.

For non-Reception entry, if a place is available, your daughter will be invited to the school for an informal assessment before any offer is made. This assessment helps us understand her academic fit within the year group and determine the appropriate level for her initial learning. This ensures we can support her development and success should she join us at The Study. There is also an open morning banner that keeps popping up, but I could not find this to show you.

Step 5

Accepting our offer and joining us

For entry to all year groups, we ask for a deposit of half a term’s fees, to be paid by the date stated in the offer letter.

Withdrawing your acceptance of a place before your child starts at the school

If you wish to withdraw your acceptance of a place before your child starts at the school, you must either give us a term’s notice or pay a term’s fees in lieu of notice. If we receive a term’s notice, you will lose your deposit, but no further fees will be payable.

We know starting school can be an anxious time for families – our aim is to make the transition as smooth and happy as possible. We offer opportunities for your daughter to spend some time with us in school, prior to starting, and host numerous parent events to help make you feel part of our community as soon as possible.

Occasional places

We do have places available in Years 1 to 6 from time to time.

If you’re interested in an occasional place, please do get in touch to find out about availability – fill in our contact form above or send an email to admissions@thestudyprep.co.uk

7+ entry

We do not have a specific intake at 7+; entry is subject to a place becoming available. If you are seeking entry at 7+, we encourage you to register your daughter for the waiting list at the earliest opportunity.
