Step 4

Offering a place

For Reception entry, we will offer places for registrations received by the 30th April of the year preceding the September entry point. Parents will have until July to accept or decline the place. As our maximum number of registrations has now been reached, any additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list. If places are still then available, offers will then be sent out in August in date order of registration.

For non-Reception entry, providing a place is available, your daughter will be invited into school for an informal assessment, to gauge how she will fit academically in the year group and where to pitch her initial learning, prior to any offer being made. This ensures that we can help her to develop and thrive, should she join us at The Study.

Step 5

Accepting our offer and joining us

For entry to all year groups, we ask for a deposit of a half term’s fees to be paid by the date stated in the offer letter. The deposit is non-refundable should your daughter not join us but will be refunded when she leaves The Study.

We know starting school can be an anxious time for families – our aim is to make the transition as smooth and happy as possible. We offer opportunities for your daughter to spend some time with us in school prior to starting, and host numerous parent events to help make you feel part of our community as soon as possible.

Occasional places

We do have places available in Years 1 to 6 from time to time.

If you’re interested in an occasional place, please do get in touch to find out about availability – fill in our contact form above or send an email to

7+ entry

We do not have a specific intake at 7+; entry is subject to a place becoming available. If you are seeking entry at 7+, we encourage you to register your daughter for the waiting list at the earliest opportunity.
