Bizworld Workshop for Budding Businesses!

“During BizWorld week, we learnt about financial responsibility, leadership and teamwork. We had the opportunity to create businesses in a real-world environment and learnt by trying out our innovative ideas.”

Year 6 girls flexed their entrepreneurial and creative muscles when they came off timetable to experience what it may be like to launch a product line, thinking about the finance, marketing and selling of that product and then get the chance to test their ideas to their peers at the end of the week with a sale of their wares!  The girls were divided up into teams and with the help of the representatives from Bizworld, put together a cohesive plan to design attractive products to sell based around different themes.  It was an exciting week and there was a business style element of competition of course, the best team would take the top spot!  In the end the team who came up trumps and The Study/Bizworld winning team was ‘Stringzeez’ comprising Sasha, Navieinaah, Clemmie, Imogen, Olivia H,  and Sofia R.  Well done girls!

 THE WINNING TEAM!

“Not every child will be an entrepreneur when he or she grows up, but we can inspire every child to have an entrepreneurial spirit: to lead confidently, think critically and creatively, be financially responsible, and understand the value of teamwork”. BizWorldUK
