Mapping the Centuries Workshop

Year 5 girls had a fascinating workshop called “Mapping the Centuries”, run by a special guest and local history expert from Wandsworth Museum.  The girls have looked at Georgian, Victorian and contemporary maps of local areas to study what has changed, how things have changed and why buildings, roads, green spaces in urban areas have evolved as they have over the years.    It was great for the girls to get this in depth knowledge of their local area. Watch this space for some of the girls’ writing about their impressions of the workshop.
