Girls Learn Vital New Skills

On Friday, 19 May, the two Year 5 classes each enjoyed doing a paediatric first aid course run by ABC Paediatrics.  They learnt how to deal with burns and bleeding, how to identify and then treat an unconscious  child (including the recovery position, rescue breaths and chest compressions), and how to prevent choking in a baby or young person.

It was a fascinating, fast moving and informative morning and every girl has learnt some potentially life-saving new skills.
