The focus of their writing was some of the exquisite objects and paintings in the gallery.
The workshop was led by Lynda Waterhouse, author of ‘Sand Dancers’. Each girl was given a writer’s notebook and a pencil and under Lynda’s guidance they were inspired to write short descriptive passages, questions and even poems and songs which were performed on the spot!
The calm and beautiful environment of the Wallace Collection was conducive to beautiful writing and the girls were all chuffed by what they achieved.
