A Trip to The National Gallery

The Year 2 girls had a wonderful trip to view some the world’s most famous art masterpieces at The National Gallery this week.  Not only did they get the opportunity to walk around this wonderful museum to appreciate iconic artworks such as Whistlejacket by Stubbs and The Bathers by Suerat, they also enjoyed a talk by the gallery professionals who  spoke to them in detail about some of the wonderful pieces on view.  It was a fantastic trip and we will certainly see how the girls were inspired when they produce their own wonderful artwork in class!
