Year 1 Visit to The Museum of Childhood

The Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green houses the V&A’s national collection of childhood related objects, including dolls’ houses, teddy bears and more. One of the topics the Year 1 girls are learning about this term is toys.  The girls thoroughly enjoyed looking at different toys from the past. They especially liked the Victorian doll’s houses and they all got to ride on a traditional rocking horse. They loved the workshop where they looked and different types of puppets and they had the opportunity to make our own shadow puppets.
