The Queen is home for the girls' visit!

Year 1 visited Windsor Castle this week as part of their 'Turrets & Tiaras' project.

They visited chapel where Henry V111 was buried and toured the State Rooms and looked at all the fascinating paintings and armour in the various apartments. The girls also enjoyed an interactive workshop on Knights. They found out what training they would need to have if they wanted to be a knight, tried on armour and held a jousting pole.

The girls loved the fact that the flag was flying which meant that the queen was there.
