Year 2 Play celebrates the humble earthworm

The girls in Year 2 excelled themselves last Thursday evening whilst performing their end of term play, ‘Worms in Mexico’. The show proved to be a lively musical revealing the amazing facts about the humble earthworm!    In balmy Mexican weather conditions, the girls sang, danced and performed with great enthusiasm in their quest to convince us that worms are actually very good for plants, and play an important role in nature.  The scene was set in Mexico, and this exotic twist was perfectly illustrated with the Red Hot Chillies Band playing La Cucaracha and the girls dancing the Mexican Hat Dance!  Well done to all the girls who took part and for entertaining us all on such a beautiful summer evening.
