Year 4 girls enjoy a Viking workshop at Fulham Palace

Year 4 visited Fulham Palace and took part in a Viking workshop based around a group of Vikings that lived near the river at Fulham for the winter in 879AD.  They dressed up as Vikings, looked at Viking artefacts and found out more about archaeology.  The girls also took part in a Maths Trail around the grounds.  It was an interesting day and they enjoyed it very much.  Next week, on Thursday, there is a special Viking themed lunch planned, which will incorporate some delicious traditional ingredients that the girls will enjoy, see the menu is below.
