As part of this term’s creative topic, “Buzz, Buzz”, Year 2 were lucky enough to have visit from a bee keeper. They listened attentively as he explained the workings of a hive and the fascinating world of bees. He went into great depth about the different types of bees and their roles.
He brought with him his equipment and protective hats, which the girls were able to try on. From now on the girls will look differently at a simple jar of honey on the breakfast table!
