The Wonder of Wakehurst Place

One of the highlights of the term for the Reception girls each year is the fantastic trip to Wakehurst Place in Sussex, the beautiful country estate managed by Kew Gardens.  The girls always enjoy learning about plants, nature and looking around the stunning botanical gardens.  This year was no exception, and the girls were delighted to meet The Green Fairy, who told them about the nature in the gardens and inspired them to make beautiful crowns from leaves, flowers and plants.  The girls also planted seeds and learnt more about the process of germination and growth.
