The Good Schools Guide Reviews The Study

News

21.09.2022

The Good Schools Guide visited The Study in July and found a school that captivates with its "approach, sense of community and impressive pupils."

The Good Schools Guide is widely regarded as the authoritative voice on British schools. It provides educational insights for parents, informed by teacher and pupil interviews, independent research and inspections. Schools are invited to be reviewed on merit alone and The Study is happy to have been on The Good Schools Guide books for more than 15 years.

It’s written by parents, for parents and here’s what they say about The Study in their most recent review:

“The much-admired creative curriculum between reception and the Summer term of year 3 is ‘magical’ says every parent we spoke to. Adds stardust – and depth – and fosters a genuine love of learning.”

“If the pre-prep’s green and pleasant vibe doesn’t captivate visiting prospective families the second they see it (backs right on to Wimbledon Common), its approach, sense of community and impressive pupils – no robotic tour guides here but ‘articulate, polite and happy girls you could hold an adult conversation with,’ says parent - does the rest.”

The Good Schools Guide

“Substantial redevelopment at Wilberforce House has added a large, impressive new wing. Classrooms are open, light and airy, library ditto, with purpose-built bookcases, interspersed with reading nooks, that form part of the staircase, and a striking new theatre with a minstrels’ gallery and movable tiered seats used by the whole school for concerts and productions. ”

We are delighted that the review matches our sense of what makes The Study the ideal choice for your daughter’s start to her education journey.
