Kassie wins the Silver medal at Sutton Music Festival in the Harp Solo Category.

Kassie L in Year 6 won the silver medal at Sutton Music Festival at the weekend, competing in the Harp Solo Category. Kassie has been on an incredible journey with the harp, as she started learning just under two years ago and is currently preparing for her Grade 6 harp exam.

Gabriella Jones, The Study’s Harp Teacher and Kassie’s mum, were both at the competition to offer moral support. Here’s what they had to say about Kassie’s performance:

“She played fabulously, beat tough competition, and we were incredibly proud to see her represent The Study.”

Gabriella Jones, Harp Teacher

“Kassie is so proud of her achievement. She was nervously happy to meet other harpists in a competition environment and have the opportunity to learn and improve. Kassie has been on an amazing journey for the past (almost) two years with Gabriella, she is simply the best harp teacher!”
