Learning about The WPCC Wildlife Garden in The Common

It was a pleasure to welcome Mr Simon Lee, Chairman of the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Conservators, to a special assembly today at Wilberforce House.  The girls have been fundraising for the WPCC and through their various activities, have managed to raise £1698.65, which Mr Lee told them would go towards a wonderful Wildlife Garden near The Windmill on the Common.  The garden will be a cultivated space which will be planted with flora that will attract birds, insects and other wildlife that live on the Common.  We cannot wait for the girls to have an opportunity to go and visit this beautiful space!
