Study Strollers heartfelt walk

The team raised more than £4,500 in memory of Jane Davis.

Last weekend, a team of Study staff were joined by former Head, Mrs Pepper, to take part in Banham Marsden March at Home, raising funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

The walk was in memory of Jane Davis, a beloved member of staff. Jane worked at The Study for more than 27 years and sadly passed away last year, after a long battle with cancer. Our group of walkers planned their own route around Richmond Park, starting out from Beverley Meads. The walk had been postponed from last year and organisers asked walkers to hold their own events locally.

The team marched, ambled and trooped for 10 miles through the elements. They may have ended with sore legs, but with equally happy hearts, and they have raised an incredible £4,500 in counting.

Thank you to our families who have shown their support and donated.
