Word Factor House Competition and Wimbledon Bookfest

Spencer House girls took part in a Word Factor House Competition.

They were given a list of over 200 difficult words to try and learn the definitions of.

The test comprised of 30 of the words. The results were extremely impressive. Archer were the overall winners, receiving 100 house points! Well done.

Below are the highest scorers for each form:

4C – Zara Edmunds 16

4M – Rania Payne 16

5M – Alice Clarke 28!

5B – Pearl Prime and Maddy Campbell-White – 15S

6M – Livia Michaels and Sophie Bailey – 26

60 – Charlotte Allen 29!

Spencer House girls, interested in creative writing, took the opportunity to enter the Wimbledon Bookfest Young Writers’ Competition with the theme of ‘Monster’.  Their entries were highly imaginative and their writing very good indeed, well done girls!   We are delighted to announce that we have many winners:
