Congratulations to all the Finalists.

The audience and judges were treated to a great variety of talks ranging from,  ‘My sponsored friend Asmita in Nepal’, ‘Hilarious Humans and their Ludicrous Laws’ to ‘Homework Excuses’, ‘Technology’’ and ‘If I had a Superpower’.

After much deliberation, the Winning talks were by : Cecily Moorhead, Year 4,  who spoke very convincingly about ‘ A Day in the Life of a Pencil Case’; and Bridget Gilligan, Year 5, who gave a confident and inspirational talk on ‘Inspiring Women who Inspire Girls’.

The Year 6’s prepared talks on ‘A World Without Books’ The girls only had half an hour to prepare a talk on this subject and did exceptionally well with the topic.

It was lovely to welcome back Mrs Morton to adjudicate this annual event. We all extend our thanks to her for her time.
