The gallant knight Sir Teachalot came in to visit the Year 1 girls this week, and he certainly taught them a lot about the world of chivalry! He explained the duties of a proper knight which include how to become a courageous warrior in order to best fight off the dragon to save the Princess. Sir Teachalot also taught the girls all about a knight’s armour, jobs of a knight and also how to joust. In addition, he told them about the different parts of a castle and how to go into battle. It was a fascinating workshop for the girls and reflected on the work they are doing for their topic, “Turrets and Tiaras.”
