See Dyslexia Differently

News

Girls watch a compelling film that challenges misconceptions of dyslexia.

This week is Dyslexia Awareness Week and we have been showing the girls this fabulous resource from The British Dyslexia Association. Understanding how our brains work and learning HOW we learn is vital to creating confident, happy students and developing self-esteem.

These conversations are important to continue at home, encouraging the girls to respect each other’s differences, whilst modelling kindness and understanding. Dyslexic people have changed the world – I wonder how many of our girls, with their brilliant, unique brains, will go on to do the same?
