Year 1 Enjoy a Special Day

Year 1 girls, as part of their Seaside Creative Curriculum topic, enjoyed a wonderful workshop today run by Workshops for Schools (see link below), themed on a traditional Victorian seaside experience.  The highlight was of course, the Punch and Judy puppet show, which all the girls thoroughly enjoyed.  They also had the chance to make their own paper donkeys and learn all about how traditional puppets are made.  It was a great day filled with good old fashioned seaside fun, and the girls' fantastic Victorian costumes got everyone in the mood!
