Year 1 Girls Enjoy Winchester Science Centre

Winchester Science Centre is an interactive science and technology centre with the largest standalone planetarium in the UK. Our girls enjoyed exciting, hands-on science experiences which sparked their curiosity and interest in science. The girls loved learning about the planets in the planetarium, donning special glasses for a colour workshop and trying out all the interactive equipment and displays.  The two floors of fascinating science exhibits at the Science Centre fed into all the work the girls are doing in class.

Here is what Kimi wrote about the trip:

"We went to Winchester Science Centre and planetarium.  In the planetarium I learnt that Neptune rains diamonds.  We learnt about gravity and that lots of the planets are gas planets.  I liked the planetarium best."
