Riding High!

The girls in Mrs Pepper’s Horse and Pony Club experienced an extra special treat when they were welcomed by The Wimbledon Village Stables to experience their Equicise state-of-the-art riding simulator. Carol showed each of the girls how to use proper riding techniques whilst putting them through their paces at different speeds. From starting with walking all the way through to galloping, the girls had a taste of what it may be like on a real horse; their techniques were monitored by the computer and they received a printout detailing their progress.  It was also lovely to see Cookie the pony on the way out who was very obliging when a photo opportunity presented itself!  We thank Carol and her team at the stables for a truly memorable experience and for giving the girls such a special opportunity.  We hope they will put their new riding skills to the test soon!
