Residential trip to the Hamble river

News

Year 4 enjoy a gloriously muddy time in the streams and woodland of Fairthorne Manor.

Last week, Year 4 ventured to the Hamble river to stay in a unique outdoor activity venue set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside.

They took part in an array of activities, including canoeing, orienteering, investigating woodland and water ecology and learning how to start a camp fire.

The adventures continued into each evening with a disco (to help celebrate Georgiana's birthday) on the first evening and an outdoor camp fire on the second evening.

The girls embraced all the activities with a smile and the instructors commented on their enthusiasm, positivity, excellent teamwork and resilience. We were so impressed to see their care towards each other too.

They were shining examples of our current value: positivity.
