The girls have enjoyed some special activities this week, including a wartime themed lunch menu, and a series of “Meet a World War 1 Soldier” workshops whereby a professional actor, one at each House, gave very entertaining and interactive sessions telling the girls all about what life was like in the trenches during the Great War. The girls were fascinated to hear stories of the challenges that our young heroes faced during this First World War, and learnt much about the history of the period through these fantastic workshops. There will also be a special assembly held at the school on Tuesday 11th November.
