A trip to the Firestation and a Police visit!

As part of their “People who Help Us” topic, Reception enjoyed two exciting experiences recently .  The girls went to the Wimbledon Fire Station to meet with the brave firefighters and had lots of fun as they were allowed to use the fire hose, try on the helmets, peek inside the fire engine and see the control room. The fire officer also talked to them about the importance of smoke alarms.  The second exciting experience was when the Police came to visit the girls on January 27th.  They learnt how the police help us and how much they do to help the local community.  The girls loved learning about these important services.
