Porridge!

Year 6 girls put on a fantastic end of year show filled with laughter, dance and song.

When a crime wave hit Happy Valley, there is a caseload of mysteries to be solved! Who stole Ma Hubbard’s recipe book? Who kidnapped Marigold the cow? And what dirty secret is Papa Bear hiding behind his Porridge empire? It’s down to Private Detective Jack Spratt to uncover the terrifying truth in this tale of mystery, mayhem and breakfast cereal!

The show was hilarious – the audience were in fits if laughter and the girls’ jokes were applauded all the way through as they demonstrated superb comic timing. There was brilliant singing and dancing too,  including a pantomime cow who did a solo dance spot to Uptown Funk! The audience enjoyed the many highlights including Papa Bear’s three Billy goat henchmen; the not-so-smart police; and poor Humpty Dumpty who went under Dr Foster’s knife, ably assisted by Nurse Polly.  Well done to all the girls who pulled off one of the funniest shows ever seen at The Study, as well as Claire Kirkby and our superb Creative Arts team who brought everything together so well.
