Year 1 girls have been having a fantastic morning with artist Maureen Wells from Primary Matters who is leading them on a creative journey to complete some fantastic artworks with a Space theme. The girls have made beautiful night sky backdrops in watercolour, and then moved on to create planets made from paper and card. Self portraits in astronaut suits will then finish the space scenes! Lara in Year 1B mentioned how she loved the textures and 3D feel of her moon that she created with paper and collage.
