Mrs Pepper hands over the reins…again!

Imogen from Year 5 enjoyed stepping into Mrs Pepper’s shoes to be Headmistress for the day at Spencer House.

She led an inspiring assembly on the theme of ‘Hopes, Dreams and Determination’.  She shared with everyone her favourite quotes: ‘Nothing is impossible.  The word itself says I’m possible!’ and ‘Create the life you can’t wait to wake up to!’.   She ended her talk with the song ‘Proud’ by Heather Small and everyone enjoyed singing along too.  Imogen also gave out the weekly birthday stickers and congratulated Farman on

being the House with the highest number of house points for the first half of the Spring Term.  To the delight of the audience she finished her assembly by announcing a pyjama mufti day later this term to raise money for our charity, the Polka Theatre.

Imogen’s highlight of the day was having lunch with a group of colleagues in the Headmistress’s where they enjoyed tucking into the menu which she had requested.  Imogen’s day ended with shaking hands duty, before rushing off for netball squad training!
