Mental Health Awareness Week

News

11.05.2021

We have been finding ways to connect with nature this week!

Evidence shows that connecting with nature has positive effects on mental health and wellbeing, and it's the theme of National Mental Health Awareness Week. Year Groups across the school have been finding ways to bring nature into the classroom.

Year 5 has been spending time outside, making observational drawings and writing poetry, benefiting from the calming and relaxing effects of these activities.

Reception has been enjoying playing in the sand in their dedicated outdoor space and enjoying this time with their friends.
