Fascinating Workshop for Year 5

Year 5 enjoyed a fascinating workshop recently as part of their Geography topic on maps.  Two visitors from the Wandsworth Museum kindly came in to talk to the girls about maps and how to use them.  They were shown modern day maps as well as maps from history, one dating back to George 111’s reign!  The girls learnt how to read coordinates, spot landmarks and easily read direction and scale.  It was a wonderful and informative day.
