Year 2 and 3 Reading Competition

The Year 2 and 3 girls all impressed recently with their wonderful entries in the annual Reading Competition.  Girls were asked to learn a poem off by heart which they would recite, followed by them reading a passage from a favourite book they had chosen.  The standard was exceptionally high this year and it was very difficult to narrow it down to the finalists.  The final was judged by Ms Geraldine Gillman, a professional LAMDA and drama teacher who was very impressed with the girls’ standard of expression, articulation and passion.  After careful deliberation, the winners were announced:

Year 2B – Sophie B

Year 2Y – Mabel-Rose S

Year 3H – Alexandria A

Year 3O – Olivia B

Very well done to everyone who took part, and many congratulations to the worthy winners!
