Lest we Forget

News

Remembrance Day provides a moment of reflection.

The girls learned about Remembrance Day in assemblies at Spencer House and Wilberforce House today.  They lit special lanterns, delivered reading they had prepared and had the opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices that people made in wars both in the past and more recent times.

We have been raising money all week for the Royal British Legion, the charity that helps members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. The girls have enjoyed selling poppies and an assortment of poppy merchandise during break times.
