Year 1 have an African Adventure

Year 1 have had a wonderful term so far learning more about Africa, and all the wonderful things that come from the continent.

This week they enjoyed the sounds and rhythms of Africa during a fantastic African Drumming workshop, where the girls took part and enjoyed listening to  the African beat.  Later on, they were fascinated by a myriad of wild creatures that visited The Study, from William the giant snake and Angus the Madagascan Tenrec to a few cheeky meerkats!  They had a fantastic and informative time and were able to gently hold many of the creatures that came for a visit.
