Our popular Horse and Pony Club, run by Mrs Pepper, had a wonderful outing to the Wimbledon Village Stables. We were very lucky as the sun was shining and the horses seemed very happy to have a group of keen Study girls make a fuss over them! One horse in particular received special attention – Schnitzel was groomed from top to tail by our girls, and he looked exceptionally smart by the time the girls left the stables. Mrs Pepper showed the girls the correct way to handle a horse whilst grooming, explained the different tools for the job, and also took the girls into the tack room to look at all the equestrian equipment. Both Mrs Pepper and all the girls had a fantastic time, and we extend our sincere thanks to the Village Stables for welcoming us so warmly.
