Over half term the girls were very creative and took part in a competition on the theme of “Home” to raise funds for Save the Children and Shelter, our Autumn Term charities.

The entries that came into school were wonderful, a mix of 2-d and 3-d artwork and poems, that really captured how the girls feel about “home”.  The difficult task of judging the superb entries fell on the two speakers who came in to school from Save the Children to talk to the girls in assembly about all the work they are doing to alleviate the plight of children in Syria.  All the girls who entered received a certificate and house points, and the six winners received special prizes.  Very well done girls for putting so much time, effort and creativity into this fundraising initiative.

Wilberforce House prize winners: Sophia in Year 1, Willow in Year 2, Stella in Year 3

Spencer House prize winners: Sophie in Year 4, Isabella in Year 4, Sasha in Year 5
