Harvest Festival

News

18.10.2013

The whole school came together last for a wonderful assembly to celebrate Harvest Festival.

Girls and staff brought foodstuff from home to be donated to The Wimbledon Food Bank, and this outpouring of generosity was the backdrop to a wonderful celebration of the harvest.  The Revd Cat Campion-Spall from St Mary’s Church, Merton was the guest speaker and did a fantastic interactive session with the girls to bring the messages of Harvest to life.

Poetry, readings and beautiful music and hymns, led by the Chamber Choir, made the event truly memorable.
