The Study Collects for the Community

Study girls are always keen to get behind charitable causes and projects that help our local community.  One of the highlights of the Autumn Term is Harvest Festival, where girls generously donate foodstuffs for The Wimbledon Guild and celebrate the festival with an assembly to give thanks for the bountiful harvest.  We welcomed Dr Barbara Moreland of St Mary’s Church, Merton who gave a talk about this special time of year to the girls.  Hymns, prayers, music, poetry and readings all ensured that this special assembly was one to remember.  The Study girls then helped pack up all the food and canned goods ready for donation.  We were thrilled to receive a lovely thank you letter from The Wimbledon Guild saying how all our goods have been warmly received by St Mark’s Family Centre in Mitcham.
