The Chamber Choir joined other Prep School choirs for an afternoon choral music workshop in the beautiful chapel at St John’s School, before singing at Evensong with their choristers in front of an audience of parents and friends.
The girls rose to the challenge, under the excellent guidance of Mrs Brown and the Head of Music at St John’s, and the service was very moving.
Francesca Tipper and Alba Galligan, Year 6 wrote:
‘Between each rehearsal we were given plenty of food. St John’s made sure we were never hungry! Then it was time for Evensong: it was what we had been waiting for! The parents poured into the beautiful chapel. All of the senior choristers were in gowns and there was much excitement in the air.’
Well done girls for representing The Study so well at this delightful service.
