Year 1 Girls Get Creative with Monkey Art!

The Year 1 Creative Curriculum topic this term is “Out of Africa”.  The girls will be learning all about this fascinating continent, its peoples, its rich culture, and of course its wildlife.  Yesterday’s art lesson focussed on a particularly cheeky creature, and the girls drew some beautiful pictures of monkeys.

The other year groups at Wilberforce House all have their own special topics this term, Reception is “Out of the Woods”, looking at woodland, and all its beautiful flora and fauna; Year 2 is “Buzz Buzz Buzz”, learning about  bees, honey making and the importance bees play in the balance of nature; and Year 3’s topic is “Wombling in Wimbledon”, which encompasses recycling, looking after our environment and sustainability.  All the girls are enjoying their online lessons and having lots of creative fun at the same time!
