The Spencer House choir is a strong team of singers, with around fifty girls who enjoy every moment of making music together. So it was with great pride that the girls had the opportunity to take part in the Barnardo’s Young Supporters’ Concert at The Barbican on 29 June. The girls sang along with 13 other London schools, and made some wonderful crowd-pleasing music, all in support of this very worthwhile charity. It was a great experience for the girls to perform in the impressive surroundings of The Barbican Theatre, and it is a memory that will stay with them for a long time. many thanks to Mrs Brown, and to the parents who took the tiem to accompany the girls and come along to the event.
