On Monday, Years 3, 4 and 6 went to Guildford Spectrum to take part in an Athletics Meet. Seven schools took part with some excellent competition. Our Year 3 girls performed extremely well coming 1st or 2nd in their individual races. Well done to Mable-Rose who came 2nd in the long Jump and a huge congratulations to the Year 3 relay team: Georgina Carrington, Sophie Bailey, Mable-Rose Scales and Ava Rickman for finishing in 1st place. What a splendid result!
Year 4 also performed extremely well in their individual races finishing in either 1st,2nd or 3rd place. A special mention to the Year 4 relay team: Ayisha Durbar, Imogen Campbell-White, Sophie Crump and Mia King for running an excellent race and finishing in 1st Place.
Year 6 team also performed exceptionally well, finishing in either 1st,2nd or 3rd Place in their races. A special mention to Albane Fery, she had an excellent sprint finish in the 800m race achieving 2nd place. Well done to Sophie Williams for coming 1st in the High Jump and congratulations to the Year 6 relay team for finishing in 2nd position.
Well done to all girls who took part, our Value of Teamwork certainly came to the fore!
