Lovely news of alumna Mabel -Rose Scales (left The Study in 2018). She recently won Gold in the U13 Girls high jump at The London indoor championships with a jump of 1.50.
The following week she became The South of England U13 high Jump champion jumping an impressive 1.52 which puts her at No.1 in the UK in the official British Athletics rankings.
Her jump of 1.52 qualifies her to go the The English Athletics indoor Championships in Sheffield at the end of February, although she will be jumping with the U15’s!
She has also been nominated for Active Wandsworth junior athlete of the year and has made the finals which is most exciting. Watch this space!
