Anoushka and Katrina make the cut

Year 6 girls inspired to donate their hair to The Little Princess Trust.

Anoushka and Katrina in 6B have both cut their hair and donated it to The Little Princess Trust. The hair that the girls have donated will be made into wigs for children and young people experiencing the devastating effects of hair loss through cancer treatment.

Anoushka was inspired when she heard how many people had cancer and lost their hair. She liked the idea that her hair would be used to make a wig for someone. Her hair was 10-15cm below her waist and she had been growing it since she was really little! Katrina was inspired by her friend Allegra having had her hair cut for the charity.

Their support of the charity is even more poignant for the school, as this was a cause close to the heart of our late Admissions Secretary, Jane Davis.

A wonderful example of our value of kindness in action.
