Year 1 Enjoy Whipsnade Zoo

Whipsnade Zoo is the biggest zoo in the UK and is located at Whipsnade in Bedfordshire.  The zoo houses a huge array of wild animals, from big cats to elephants, from bears to zebras, it is a world of natural wonder, which the Year 1 girls discovered on their trip their this week.  As part of Year 1’s classroom work on Africa, the trip helped to bring their learning to life as they experienced seeing African wildlife at close quarters and enjoyed workshops.  The girls had a great time, even though the wet weather was a far cry from the African climate!
