Whipsnade Zoo, formerly known as Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, is the biggest zoo in the UK and is located at Whipsnade in Bedfordshire. The zoo houses a huge array of wild animals, from big cats to elephants, from bears to zebras, it is a world of natural wonder, which the Year 1 girls soon discovered on their trip their recently. As part of Year 1’s classroom work on Africa, the trip helped to bring their learning to life as they experienced seeing African wildlife at close quarters.
