A Trip to the Palace

Year 5 head to Hampton Court for an immersive Tudor experience.

Chiara tells us about their trip back in time to the court of HenryV111.

"Yesterday we visited the iconic Hampton Court Palace and were lead around this historic site by our teachers in groups. We explored the kitchens, the King’s apartments, the Great Hall and many more intricately decorated spaces. I learnt that Henry VIII dedicated specific rooms to some of his many wives, each being uniquely designed with their coat of arms dotted around the rooms. In conclusion, I enjoyed the trip immensely and left full to the brim with Tudor knowledge."
