A Polka Young Voices Panel Member Speaks in Assembly

News

22.02.2018

Sophie, Year 6, gave an interesting presentation in assembly on her role as a member of the Polka Theatre Young Voices Panel.

She spoke about the different activities she get involved with, including writing reviews, participating in workshops, helping to advertise shows, making displays for the foyer, taking the public on tours of the theatre and even attending meetings with the Board to give advice!  The girls were inspired by Sophie’s talk and some have requested application forms!  At The Study we have many budding artists, designers, actors, writers and public speakers so it was great for the girls to hear about an opportunity to combine their interests and talents with a local community project.

This term we are

supporting the Polka Theatre so they can continue to provide high quality live theatre and creative learning opportunities for children.  As a registered charity, Polka relies on donations to provide special access for children with a range of disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
