It is Harry Potter Book Night tonight and the girls were certainly inspired today when Anna from Wimbledon High who runs the club, themed the session around the magical and mysterious spells found in the Harry Potter books. Many of the spell names are derived from the Latin, so Anna and the girls had fun deciphering the meaning of the spells using their knowledge of the ancient language. What a fun way of learning and of showing just how important Latin is to our language and culture.
